CNC 202: CNC Programming

This hands-on course prepares students to write programs for computerized numerical control (CNC) machines. Programming instruction will be given for both mill (vertical machining center) and lathe (turning center).

Students will be able to: • Write a specific program for CNC machines.
• Calculate speeds and feeds for the machining process.
• Verify and edit CNC programs.
• Manufacture parts from prints in a machine shop environment.
