Symbol Job Training, Inc. provided CNC training to some of our plant employees. I was very pleased with the results and extra effort the Instructors took to make sure our employees successfully completed the course. English is the second language for most of the employees that attended the training and we are extremely happy that not only did they passed the course despite the language barrier, they have also proven their knowledge and newly acquired skills in our shop successfully. I would like to take this opportunity to both thank and commend Symbol Job Training for the excellent CNC training program they provided for two of our shop employees. Symbol was able to take two individuals with limited background and experience, but with plenty of desire, and give them a great foundation for CNC programming and set up. It was very important that Symbol could provide an environment at their facility where a student can concentrate on this curriculum 100 percent of the time without interruption. We could not provide this type of focus and effort in our facility because of the need to meet our daily customer requirements. Symbol fits the bill perfectly, both logistically and from a facility standpoint. Both students have successfully completed the classes, and are currently assisting in setting up production equipment. I'm sure our investment in them will be well worth the cost. I would not hesitate to sign up more candidates as we identify them. Diana's customer service also made the initial sign up process seamless and easy. We are happy to have Symbol as an educational partner for the future of Standard Grinding.
