1. What credentials does Symbol Job Training, Inc. have?
Symbol Job Training, Inc. is certified by Illinois State Board of Education. In addition, we are working with various manufacturing companies and associations around the Chicagoland area, including the Tooling and Manufacturing Association and Arthur Machinery. We have also recently partnered up with the Illinois Department of Human Services (DHS),Workforce Investment Act (WIA), Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (dceo) and the Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) program. This permits us to assist individuals who have been laid off from work and also those with special needs. We are constantly updating our student employment statistics which shows the success we have had at placing students to work.

2. What type of student support does Symbol Job Training, Inc. offer?

Symbol Job Training, Inc. instructors are not only the best in their field but also have years of teaching experience and professional training. Our instructors are readily available to assist students either before/after class or by appointment. We also offer assistance with resumes and leads for job opportunities.

3. Where can students receive information on classes offered?

4. What if a student works while he/she is in school?

Symbol Job Training, Inc. is a vocational school. This means that a majority of our students are employed while they are enrolled in our courses. We strive to make our schedule very flexible and offer courses in the morning, afternoon and evening.

5. What happens after the student completes a course?

At Symbol Job Training, Inc., we strive to make sure all of our students who are unemployed, find jobs once they have completed the course. We work closely with many companies and organizations in the Chicagoland area to place students to work. Once students have completed our course, they are encouraged to keep in contact with their instructor as a resource for information.
